Background
As a market leader in high-end liquid cooling solutions, EK Water Blocks provides an impressive array of options for CPU and GPU water blocks, radiators, PC fans, all-in-one liquid cooling sets, distro plates, as well as accessories. The company approached CRE8 to build a comprehensive and premium brand experience by creating distinctive design languages for its products.
Challenges
The Quantum family alone consists of a wide range of products with up to 20 variations and specs, making it challenging to come up with a unified design strategy with iconic elements, enabling each individual product to be immediately recognizable.
Our designers also had to take compatibility, customizability, materials selection, performances, and aesthetics into consideration, while making sure that different user preferences were met.
Solutions
CRE8 designed for EK three different product families: Classic, Quantum, and Magnitude, each with unique key features but all in line with the brand’s attributes.
Meeting the needs of different types of PC builders, Classic is for entry-level users and offers basic material choices on a limited budget; Quantum offers a large range of DIY elements for enhanced customizability and performances; while Magnitude is the latest edition as the absolute high-end line that takes customization to another level with a revolutionary mounting solution.
